Letter from Screening Coordinator

Dear Volunteer:

We are excited that you have shown an interest in volunteering to assist in ministry to children or youth at our church. Your service to the Lord and to the children is greatly appreciated and can make such a difference in a child's life.

The church has adopted a protection policy requiring that all children/student program volunteers (including substitutes) fully complete the screening process currently in place, which includes:

  • membership or regular church attendance for at least six (6) months before beginning volunteer service
  • completion of Volunteer Application
  • interview with a ministry leader or coordinator before volunteer service begins

Please complete and return the enclosed Volunteer Application,  so we can move forward with the process.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering to assist in a children/student ministry program and for taking the time to complete the enclosed application. If you have any questions, please contact me at the church. I look forward to having the opportunity to meet you.

In Christ's Service.
