Overview

Wouldn't it be great to go throughout your whole ministry and make all the right decisions — all godly decisions? Of course, you're going to have some missteps in ministry, but that doesn't mean you can't minimize them by learning from other seasoned leaders.

In these eight articles from Leadership journal, church leaders share their testimonies of lessons learned. From being so focused on the job that it led to a crumbling marriage, to unrealistic money expectations, to forgetting about the people, you'll be able to take these unhealthy experiences and make your ministry healthy for the long haul.

This Training Pack contains all of the following:

Misguided Coping Mechanisms
Pete and Geri Scazzero had to get past emotional immaturity before their crumbling marriage and ministry got back on track.

Unrealistic Money Expectations

No Time for Pastorable Moments

"Transparency is being taught now more than ever in churches. Has anyone experienced confession in a church or group that caused a church split, divorce, loss of new converts in the church and lost friends etc? " Some sins should be confessed to God and Him alone, no one else should have be drug through all that manure and God forgives & forgets, man says he forgives and remembers all that was done. It's hard to walk through dung and not get some on you, especially dealing with sex and crime issues. It just brings up a stink! David said it best: " You alone oh Lord have I sinned!" It is just crazy to destroy good with ones bad. I need some experiences out there to this issue. Let me hear from you if you care to share. FDurland41@gmail.com
